YouTuber LadBaby has shot into an even stronger lead in the race for the UK Christmas No.1 following a series of bets placed on his hit “I Love Sausage Rolls”.

We slashed LadBaby into 10/11 from 6/5 a few days ago but after an extremely busy market on Monday, the vlogger, who scored last year’s Christmas number one with “We Built This City On Sausage Rolls”, is now 1/7 to reach the coveted spot again this month, with the winner to be announced on December 20th.

LadBaby, whose real name is Mark Hoyle, will be donating all the proceeds from the novelty song to The Trussell Trust…

…a foodbank charity, funding about 70,000 emergency food packages over the festive period.

Stormzy is now the 11/2 second favourite from 8/1 for the festive accolade for his collaboration with Ed Sheeran and Burna Boy called “Own It”. Lewis Capaldi (10/1), Tones and I (12/1), The Sideman (12/1) and Wham! (16/1), are some of the rivals trying to close the gap on LadBaby.
