Mauricio Pochettino Odds On For Tottenham Job Following ‘Talks’

Former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is already seeing money to make a return to the North London club.

BoyleSports traders were kept busy on Thursday morning following strong support to see the Argentine return to Spurs and according to reports, talks have already begun.

Pochettino was sacked by Daniel Levy in 2019 after a five-year stint at the club

…that had seen them involved in two Premier League title races and reach the Champions League final.

He took charge at Paris Saint-Germain in January, replacing now-Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel, but a move is imminent if the betting is anything to go by. The recent ‘talks’ between Spurs and Pochettino have resulted in his price crumbling into 4/6 from 5/1, meaning he is now the firm favourite and the shortest price candidate we have seen so far for the role.

Former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has made a swift move up the betting to be appointed permanent manager at Spurs, with his odds being cut into 11/4 from 20/1 to take up the role within the last 24 hours after leaving Inter Milan.
