Mayo Backed To Break The Curse And Lift Sam

Mayo booked their place in the All-Ireland Senior Championship final after securing a five point victory over Tipperary in Croke Park.

The Heather County could be set to break the curse that has seen the Sam Maguire elude the county for over sixty years, as they head into the final at 9/4.

Their opponent has yet to be decided with Dublin and Kerry meeting next Sunday in the second semi-final. Reigning champions Dublin are expected to get the chance to defend their title and win the match at 4/9 with Kerry on offer at 5/2 to cause an upset.

Having been the bridesmaid for many years this might just be Mayo’s year to be the bride and punters have been eager to show their support.

However Dublin remain the most popular punters’ pick and pose the biggest liability in the book at 8/13 to retain Sam.
