McIlroy Hot Fav For Irish Open

The Dubai Duty Free Irish Open tees off at the K Club on Thursday morning and it’s Rory McIlroy who is all the rage to win the tournament.

Punters can’t get enough of the Holywood native ahead of the Irish Open and he is now 7/2 from 4/1 to win the tournament for the first time.

He is by far the biggest liability in the antepost book at present with Offaly native Shane Lowry the second worst result for the firm.

Reigning champion from Denmark, Soren Kjeldsen, is priced at 45/1 to win back-to-back titles whilst Padraig Harrington, who last won the crown in 2007 when it was played at Adare Manor in Limerick, is 80/1 to bounce back to winning ways.
