Meath Even Money To Take Division 2 Title as Promotion Beckons

Meath have Division 1 football in their sights as their 1-12 to 1-07 win over Clare in Cusack Park on St Patrick’s Day saw them move a step closer to promotion.

The win sees Meath top the table with a hefty scoring difference making promotion seem like more of a formality at this stage, which is further backed by their Even money odds to win Division 2.

In Division 1, Kerry’s unbeaten run came to a shock end when a 67th minute goal saw Mayo take victory 1-10 to 0-11 in Austin Stack Park.

Kerry have shortened into 8/13 from 13/8 as they lie two points clear at the head of the table.

The win for Mayo saw their odds drastically slashed from 40/1 to the new 4/1 second favourites. Galway continue to eye up a spot in the league final as their 1-17 to 1-10 win over Roscommon resulted in their odds shortening into 5/1 from their outsider price of 33/1.
