Monaghan Are New Ulster SFC Favourites

Tyrone will have to take the back door route should they wish to defend their title at the quarter-final stages after a devastating defeat to Monaghan at Healy Park on Sunday.

A goal in the last minutes of the game, wasn’t enough to rescue the Red Hands as Monaghan came out on top 1-18 to 1-16. The Oriel County will now face Fermanagh on Saturday, who beat Armagh 0-12 to 0-07 in the semi-finals.

Monaghan have been made new 4/5 favourites for the Anglo-Celt Cup after shortening right in from 4/1 as a result of the triumph.

In the Munster SFC, Clare set up a semi-final meeting with Kerry whilst Tipperary will prepare to face off against Cork in the semi-finals following respective quarter-final wins.

Clare remain outsiders in the Outright betting despite seeing their odds cut from 25/1 to 16/1. The outsiders label remains attached to the Banner men as they go into their semi-final clash with Kerry as 7/1 shots to win.

The Kingdom, who lead the outright betting as 2/7 favourites, are firm 1/12 favourites to see off Clare.

Tipperary v Cork will be a close affair, according to the odds, with the Rebel’s edging favouritism ever so slightly at Even money as Tipp follow closely at 11/10.
