MVG The Favourite After BoyleSports World Grand Prix Draw

The draw was made this morning ahead of the BoyleSports World Grand Prix of Darts which will commence at the CityWest hotel in Dublin on Sunday October 6th and finish with the final on Saturday October 12th.

Michael van Gerwen who is the defending champion is the current 13/8 favourite having drifted slightly from 6/4. The Dutchman has won this event four times and will be bidding to win back to back titles for the first time.

Next up in the betting is Gary Anderson at 8/1 followed by the runner-up from last year’s event Peter Wright at 9/1 having been supported in from 12/1 on the back of the draw.

Rob Cross, who is second seed for this event, is the biggest drifter in the market at 10/1 from 7/1. His record is not great having gone out at the first attempt in the last three running’s of the BoyleSports World Grand Prix.

Daryl Gurney who won the event back in 2017, has received plenty of support from BoyleSports customers who believe he can go all the way once again. The man from Northern Ireland is a 14/1 chance having been supported in from 18/1.
