“Rangers are going to be so well supported,” she told BoyleSports. “But I’m very concerned that they’re coming up against a very strong Eintracht Frankfurt side.”
“Victories against Real Betis, Barcelona and West Ham were massive for them and they have had a wonderful season in Europe having not lost a single game.
It would be some feat if they could win the tournament without losing a game and all credit to them.”
“But they have been a massive disappointment domestically, they’ve just finished 11th in the Bundesliga, so you have to wonder if their European adventure has had a massive hit on what’s happened in Germany.
“Nobody meanwhile was giving Rangers a chance against Borussia Dortmund for example. James Tavernier has scored seven goals already in the Europa League, he has been their leader and he’ll want to be the captain who brings them their first European trophy in 50 years.
“Of course, they’re celebrating their 150th anniversary as well, so there are lots of nice stories for them going into this final.”
