The Jaguars are one of the form teams in the league coming into this divisional round game. They needed to win their last four regular season games to qualify for the playoffs, which they did.
Last weekend in the Wildcard round they pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in playoff history by coming back from 27 points down to beat the LA Chargers 31-30.

The Chiefs had the best regular season record in the AFC at 14-3 which makes them the top seed in these playoffs.
Kansas City are currently on a 5-game unbeaten run with their last loss being at the start of December in a tight game with the Bengals.

Since Trevor Lawrence was drafted by the Jaguars these teams have only played once. That game was back in November of this regular season when the Chiefs won comfortably on a scoreline of 27-17.

The Chiefs have a much improved defence this year when compared to previous seasons. Before the defence was a liability but now it can hold its own in big games. This Kansas City defence has only given up 15.7 points per game over the last three games, good enough for 3rd best in the league.

The Giants reached a mark of 7-2 in the regular season but their form has been patchy since then and as a result they finished the regular season with a record of 9-7-1.
Despite their poor form they still secured a wildcard spot and beat the #3 seed Vikings last weekend in the Wildcard round in an impressive display.

The Eagles had a bye week last week courtesy of having the best regular season record in the NFC at 14-3.
Philadelphia were at one stage 13-1 but an injury that sidelined QB Jalen Hurts saw them lose two of their last three games. Hurts is back for this game and should be close to full health which will make this team very tough to beat.

The Eagles are 3-1 against the Giants in the last two seasons with two of those wins coming by 24+ points.
Philadelphia won their most recent matchup two weeks ago 22-16 but the Giants were resting their starters in that game.

Giants Offence vs Eagles Defence
The Giants have a mediocre offence by almost every metric. In points per game they are ranked 14th in the league and by yards per game they are 17th.
It’s not bad, but it’s by no means great especially at this stage of the playoffs.
With that being said, head coach Brian Daboll is a highly respected offensive mind and should be able to design a game plan that will give this Eagles defence some trouble.
Daniel Jones played maybe the best game of his life last weekend against the Vikings and a similar effort will be required here if New York are to advance to the Conference Championship.
The Eagles defence is one of the better units in the league. They rank 8th in the NFL in points per game conceded.

The Eagles are one of the best offences in the league by any metric or statistic that you want to look at. In terms of points per game they are ranked 3rd and they are also 3rd in yards gained per game.
QB Jalen Hurts is particularly deadly when this offence is in the redzone due to his ability to run the ball when his receivers are covered. This makes Philadelphia’s offence the 3rd best in the league in touchdown percentage once they get inside the opponent’s 20 yard line.
