Nigel Pearson Favourite To Take Over At Villa

Former Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has been tipped to replace Remi Garde, who parted ways with Aston Villa after 147 days, at 7/4.

Former Man United and Real Sociedead manager David Moyes has also been heavily linked to the vacant position at Villa Park and is hot on Pearson’s heels at 9/4.

Whoever takes over no doubt has a tough task on their hands as Remi Garde departs with the lowest win percentage in Villa’s Premier League history.

Current acting manager Eric Black is next in the betting at 6/1 with former Swansea boss Garry Monk on offer at 9/1 and Hull boss Steve Bruce 10/1 to make the move to Villa.

Other names in the running are Kevin McDonald (12/1), Mark Warburton (16/1), Brendan Rodgers (16/1), Gareth Southgate (20/1) and Neil Lennon (22/1).
