Norton, James Norton Is The New Favourite To Become The Next James Bond

James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli has ruled out making the character female after Daniel Craig’s departure and now James Norton has become the new favourite to replace him.

No Time To Die, which will be released in April, marks Craig’s final outing as 007 and his replacement has not yet been announced, but we have trimmed McMafia star James Norton into the 13/8 favourite from 4/1 to become the new secret service spy.

According to reports, Norton is in the middle of trying to get a deal signed off but another man is being supported as Sam Heughan is now the 5/2 second favourite from 5/1. When asked about a possible link to the 007 role, Heughan said it’s about time we had a Scottish Bond again.

The Outlanders actor is just ahead of 7/2 shot Tom Hiddleston in the market as the Avengers star has been eased from 6/5 favourite having been leader of the race for months before Norton came into the mix.

X-men star Michael Fassbender is a drifter in the book from 9/4 out to 8/1 after he ruled himself out of the running. Tom Hardy is 12/1 from 6/1 to take over from Daniel Craig with Cork-born Peaky Blinder Cillian Murphy also at 12/1.
