Onus On Hogan For Irish Flat Season Return
The Irish Lincoln is a good competitive handicap that could see a progressive youngster being thrown in off a favourable mark.
Although, a chance is taken that Tithonus can outrun his massive odds of 25/1.
Denis Hogan’s charge is a winner over trips from five furlongs to seven, but not over a mile which has to be a concern and contributes to his price. But, there is no doubting the ability of the horse or his attitude and he’ll enjoy the ground conditions at the Kildare track on Sunday.
Unlike what may be the case for some of his rivals, Tithonus won’t be holding much back that the handicapper doesn’t already know but hopefully his ability to get the trip will come as a pleasant surprise to some and reward punters at a decent price.
It would be a nice way to start the Irish flat season!
