Petit Mouchoir & Buveur D’air Joint Favs Champion Hurdle Favs

Willie Mullins was dealt a double blow on Monday as he ruled both Faugheen and Min out of the Cheltenham Festival.

As a result of 2015 Champion Hurdle winner Faugheen being ruled out, Saturday’s Sandown Listed Contenders Hurdle winner

Buveur D’air is now the 7/2 joint favourite alongside the Henry De Bromhead trained Petit Mouchoir.

It’s then 4/1 about Yorkhill who also holds an entry in the Arkle with Yanworth next in the betting at 9/2. Nicky Henderson’s Brain Power is priced at 6/1 whilst 2014 winner Jezki can be backed at 8/1.

As a result of Min being ruled out of the Arkle, the Nicky Henderson trained Altior is now 4/7 from 8/11. Mullins may now well be represented by Yorkhill who is now the 5/1 second favourite having been priced at 7/1 prior to the news about Min breaking.
