Pied Piper Odds Slashed For Triumph Hurdle After Cheltenham Success

Our traders were kept busy on Saturday afternoon following some top-class racing at Cheltenham with Pied Piper the star of the Grade Two Triumph Trial Juvenile Hurdle.

This Gordon Elliott trained 4-year-old was an impressive winner under jockey Davy Russell as the pair cruised to victory up the Prestbury Park hill to win by nine lengths as the 11/8 favourite.

This bright prospect has been cut into 3/1 from 9/1 to win the Triumph Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival

…and has also been cut into 20/1 from 33/1 in the betting for the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle.

Trainer Fergal O’Brien secured his 100th winner of the season with Imperial Alcazar at 9/1 who landed the Novices’ Handicap Chase by ten lengths. His odds have been cut unto 33/1 from 50/1 for the both the Festival Novices’ Chase and the Marsh Novices’ Chase.

Torn And Fray won the Grade Three Handicap Chase for trainer Nigel Twiston-Davies and jockey Sam Twiston-Davies and has been introduced to the Paddy Power Plate betting at 10/1.

There was some great racing at Doncaster too on Saturday with Third Time Lucki winning the Grade Two Novices’ Chase for trainer Dan Skelton with his Arkle chances trimmed into 7/1 from 8/1.
