Piers Morgan has hinted that he could be making a shock return to ITV’s Good Morning Britain following his dramatic exit earlier in the year and punters are getting behind the possibility.

The show has reportedly suffered a decline in viewers since Morgan’s departure

…and he said there had been contact from a third party over a sensational comeback.

There has been a sudden increase in bets on Morgan returning to hotseat. The prospect had been originally chalked up at 10/1, but following the TV presenter’s new claims, it’s only a 6/4 shot that he returns to screens after admitting he regrets storming off set.

The former CNN presenter, who had teased a run for Prime Minister, is unlikely to move into Number 10 in the future at 200/1, but he is a popular 3/1 shot from 10/1 to join the I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here camp later this year.
