Trump Shortened To Be Gone Before Next Election

Donald Trump has been backed for an early exit from the White House after his former lawyer Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to violating campaign finance laws.

Cohen admitted to making significant payments to two women, who both claim to have had affairs with Trump, and caused political shockwaves by saying he had done so “at the direction” of a candidate for federal office.

With Trump seemingly implicated by Cohen’s guilty plea, we said that the chances of him not completing his first term in office was the most popular bet in our politics markets on Wednesday.

The odds on the President not completing his first term were cut into 11/8 from 4/1 just yesterday,

…while he is now 8/1 from 12/1 to resign before his first four years are up in 2020.

The odds now only narrowly favour Trump’s reign extending beyond 2020, as a 2019 exit was backed into 7/2 from 5/1 and a quicker demise, before this year is out, crashed into 7/1 from 16/1.
