Trump Shortens To Become US President
Donald Trump - US Presidential Election
Outright Betting
The odds for Donald Trump to be named the Republican US Presidential candidate have shortened into 1/100 following the shock withdrawal of Ted Cruz from the Republican Presidential Nomination campaign.
Trump has also been cut into 13/5 from 7/2 to succeed Barack Obama in November with Hilary Clinton remaining the odds on favourite at 3/10.
Newstalk presenter, George Hook, showed his faith in Donald Trump to triumph in the election when he placed a €200 charity bet on Trump to become president at 5/1 back in March.
Should Trump succeed, his winnings will go to the Irish Rugby Charitable Trust.
