“The world numbers 1 and 2 kick things off and I expect Peter Wright to get through this one. Gerwyn Price still has injury worries with that right hand and Peter should just have too much.
“In the second quarter-final, I can see a victory for Gary Anderson who is just returning from illness. He is coming in fresh against James Wade, he knows he needs points and I expect him to get them.
“Michael Van Gerwen and Jonny Clayton are locking horns once again in the third quarter-final and Michael has got the better of them a couple of times in this year’s Premier League. I think that trend will continue and he’ll edge it, although it should be a close one.

“In the fourth quarter-final it’s two players who have struggled of late in the Premier League. Joe Cullen won in Rotterdam, but he didn’t get anything going last week.
“I expect him to play better this week and although this could be a close one too and a bit nervy, I’m siding with Joe to edge it, maybe in a last-leg decider.”

Mark Webster is a darts professional who was a mainstay of the circuit between 2005-2020.
Starting out in the BDO, he went on to be crowned the third Welsh World Champion in the organisation when he beat Simon Whitlock in the 2008 final at the Lakeside.
Webster went on to have a distinguished career in the PDC, twice reaching the semi-finals of the World Championships including a run in 2011 in which he knocked out 16-time World Champion Phil Taylor, earning himself a spot in the prestigious Premier League.
He now works as an analyst and commentator for Sky Sports.
