Punters Back Europa League Goal Spree As Dundalk Head To Vienna

Goals are being backed in the Rapid Vienna v Dundalk clash despite both sides beginning their Europa League campaigns without a single point between them – with only one goal scored each in Group B.

Each of the last seven Rapid Vienna home matches have featured three goals or more and that is the trend punters are expecting to continue.

BoyleSports make three goals or more just a 6/5 shot from 7/5, while 1/5 favourites Rapid Vienna are odds-on at 3/4 to find the net in both halves.

Dundalk have edged odds-on at 20/21 from 11/10 to score at anytime in the 90 minutes but face 12/1 odds of recording their first Europa League win this campaign.

There tends to be plenty of goals when Rapid Vienna play at home so Dundalk’s task of shutting out their opponents is clearly going to be a tough one.

Pat Hoban is their most likely goal outlet at 11/4 from 3/1 to score for the second consecutive match, having opened the scoring in the recent league encounter with St. Pat’s.

In the other game in the group, Arsenal are hot 3/10 favourites to cement their place at the head of the table with a home victory over Molde.

The Gunners’ north London rivals Tottenham, however, have taken over at the top of the outright betting, with Jose Mourinho’s side 6/1 favourites from 15/2 to add more silverware to his illustrious CV.
