Punters Keane On Kerry League/All-Ireland Double

Kerry are dominating the early betting ahead of this weekend’s National Football League Final against Mayo following another dominant win that condemned Roscommon to Division 1 relegation.

The Kingdom rubber-stamped their place in the National Football League decider with a comprehensive 10-point victory over the Rossies on Sunday and are now 4/11 shots with BoyleSports to go on and claim their second league crown in three years in this Sunday’s decider at Croke Park.

Mayo are lying in wait for Kerry after they found the net three times to see off Monaghan by three points in Castlebar. The Westerners are 9/4 outsiders for Sunday’s clash while the betting suggests the most likely winning margin to be a Kerry victory by 1-3 points at 3/1.

Punters have also been looking ahead to the Championship campaign and Kerry are 7/2 from 9/2 to win the All-Ireland and deny Dublin a fifth consecutive Sam Maguire, while the chances of the Kingdom competing a National League and All-Ireland double are into 11/2 from 7/1.

Dublin remain 8/11 favourites to make it five on the trot and are only 9/4 to win the next two All-Ireland Senior Football Championships.

Kerry’s league campaign has given us something to think about in regard to the All-Ireland market and they’ve already closed into 7/2 from 11/2 to get their hands back on the Sam Maguire since their campaign got under way.

The League/Championship double is now just 11/2 having started the year at 33/1 and that move reflects punters’ growing confidence in Peter Keane’s side.
