Punters Rally Behind Bulgaria For Eurovision Success

Eurovision 2018

Outright Betting

Israel have suffered a drift in the Eurovision betting with support bounding in for Bulgaria to win with their track ‘Bones’ by Equinox.

With three weeks to go until the Eurovision Song Contest gets under way, Israel, who will be represented by Netta and the track ‘Toy’, have been pushed out to 7/4 favourites from 13/8 as punters’ opinions begin to shift.

Bulgaria, who were runners up to Portugal last year, have been backed into 6/1 from 10/1,

…following the news that last year’s representative, Kristian Kostov, will join Equinox on stage during their performance of ‘Bones’ as a guest star.

Australia have also shortened to win and are now 8/1 from 12/1, seeing them take over fourth place in the betting. This will be their fourth year in the Eurovision Song Contest and they will be represented by Jessica Mauboy with ‘We Got Love’.

Ireland will have to qualify for the main show and face stiff competition in semi-final 1 which features the top two in the outright betting, Israel and Bulgaria. Ryan O’Shaughnessy is 100/1 to win semi-final 1 with his song ‘Together’ while Israel are clear 11/10 favourites.
