Punters Support Ballydoyle Into Clear 1000 Guineas Favourite

BoyleSports can report further support for Ballydoyle to win next year’s 1000 Guineas following her victory in the Prix Marcel Boussac at Longchamp on Sunday.

Initially BoyleSports left Ballydoyle unchanged at 8/1 but following support she was clipped into 7/1 by 5pm on Sunday evening.

Following further support on Sunday night and Monday morning, Ballydoyle is now the clear 5/1 favourite for next year’s 1000 Guineas at Newmarket with her nearest rival in the betting being Lumiere at 8/1.

The 1000 Guineas market has certainly come alive with punters latching onto Ballydoyle in the past 24 hours in what now sees Aidan O’Brien’s Prix Marcel Boussac winner the biggest antepost loser.

We held onto 8/1 and 7/1 for as long as we could as we thought Ballydoyle’s win was workmanlike on Sunday.

However punters believe that the daughter of Galileo is the real deal for next year and quickly took the 7/1 and supported her into the clear 5/1 favourite.
