Ralph Hassenhuttl New Red Hot Fav For Southampton

Southampton are on the hunt for a new manager after they sent Mark Hughes packing following their 2-2 draw with Manchester United on Sunday.

Hughes had only been over the club for eight months, overseeing just three wins in 22 Premier League matches in that time.

Ralph Hasenhuttl is the new odds-on favourite at 2/5 to make the move from Germany to England after punters attacked his price mere hours after the market opened.

Former Watford manager, Quique Sanchez Flores, who is currently a free agent having left Espanyol earlier in the year, was the early 11/8 favourite to take over the reins at St Mary’s Stadium, but has since been eased out to 13/2.

Sam Allardyce has also been the subject of fresh support with the former England manager’s odds shortening all the way in from 7/1 to the 9/2 second favourite for the role.

Ex-Swansea boss Paulo Sousa has drifted out to 9/1 having been given early odds of 11/2 to replace Hughes after reports emerged linking the Portuguese with the club.
