Rep. Of Ireland Shorten For Euro 2020 Group D Top 2 Finish

Rep. of Ireland maintained their undefeated status in the Euro 2020 qualifiers last week following a 1-1 draw against Switzerland at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

The Boys in Green have now played all four other nations in the group on at least one occasion and are currently top with just three fixtures left to play.

Following their clash against Switzerland, Rep. of Ireland drifted out to 11/10 to top Group D but thanks to the drawn match between Georgia and Denmark,

their chances of a Top 2 finish has been trimmed into 4/5 from 11/10.

Mick McCarthy’s men will hope to take all three points from their next qualification game away to Georgia next month. After that, their final two games are a trip away to Switzerland, before Denmark travel to the Aviva in November.

It’s still 9/2 for Rep. of Ireland to win Group D while it’s now 10/11 from 4/6 for them not to finish in the Top 2 of their group.
