Rep Of Ireland Shorten To Qualify After Denmark Draw

It’s all to play for in Dublin after the Republic of Ireland’s scoreless draw against Denmark in Copenhagen on Saturday night.

As the Boys in Green prepare for their World Cup Play-Off second leg on Tuesday, their odds to qualify have shortened following Saturday’s result. The Republic of Ireland are now 13/10 to seal the deal, having been cut in from 31/20.

Denmark have been eased out to 6/10 from 1/2 to qualify.

In the match betting, BoyleSports are finding it difficult to separate the two sides with Martin O’Neill’s men 7/4 and Denmark also priced at 7/4 to win in 90 minutes. The draw is priced at 2/1.

Republic of Ireland are 25/1 to qualify in extra time, whilst Denmark are 3/4 to qualify in normal time. Republic of Ireland or Denmark to qualify on penalties are both priced at 22/1.

BoyleSports are also paying Double Winnings on all markets as a free bet if the crossbar is hit in Tuesday’s game.

It was a lacklustre scoreless draw for the Republic of Ireland and one that leaves us playing for everything in the Aviva Stadium on Tuesday. However we are known to get ourselves out of sticky situations and…

the odds suggest we will do just that with the to qualify odds shortening into 13/10 from 31/20.
