Road To Riches New Galway Plate Favourite

36 entries remain at the latest forfeit stage for next Wednesday’s Galway Plate and following the scratching of Shanpallas, the Noel Meade trained Road To Riches, who won the race in 2014, has hardened further at the head of the market.

The son of Gamut, who was available at 8/1 on Wednesday, is now 9/2 to win back the coveted crown with the Willie Mullins trained Alelchi Inois its nearest rival in the betting at 10/1.

The Guinness Galway Hurdle has seen 37 entries remain with the Dan Skelton trained Superb Story and Willie Mullins Max Dynamite locked together at the head of the betting at 9/2.

Last year’s winner Quick Jack is 12/1 to win back to back races for trainer Tony Martin and owner John Breslin.

Edward Harty’s Moon Over Germany is now 14/1 having been supported in from 25/1 over the past 24 hours whilst Shay Barry’s Bentelimar is now 16/1 from 25/1.
