Robbie Power’s Cheltenham 2020 Day 2 Tips – Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle

Robbie Power joins us from Cheltenham to give his best bets for the Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle on Day 2 of the 2020 Cheltenham Festival.

1.30 Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle

There’s no doubt Envoi Allen has been extremely impressive. He’s won Grade 1s over 2 miles and 2 and a half. He’s still unbeaten and he sets a very high standard.

He won the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham last year and he’s going to be a very hard horse to beat.

But I like my horse a lot, The Big Breakaway. He’s a horse with an awful lot of potential. He just might lack a bit of experience for a race of this nature but he’s a very exciting horse and I think he has to have a big chance.

Sporting John is a very good horse of Philip Hobbs’ too, he’s won his last three. Son Of Camas, a horse of Nicky Henderson’s who was third behind Fiddlerontheroof in the Tolworth is a decent horse as well.

If things go right on the day, Envoi Allen should be hard to beat but if things don’t work out for him hopefully The Big Breakaway will pick up the pieces.

Bet Bets:
Envoi Allen (5/4)
The Big Breakaway each-way (11/2)
