ROYAL ASCOT TOP JOCKEY ODDS BELOW

2.30 Queen Anne Stakes

“You can see why Baaeed is 2/11 favourite as he’s looked the real deal so far. People are saying he’s the best horse since Frankel and he actually looks like it.

“He’s the horse that flat racing needed, a real superstar when there were plenty over jumps, but not as many on the flat.

“I genuinely cannot see him getting beaten. Strong pace or no pace, I don’t think it’s going to make any difference to him.

“If he could get back to his Breeders Cup form, I think Order Of Australia might be the one who could follow him home.”

3.05 Coventry Stakes

“I’ll be riding Harry Time and he won very well first time out at Navan. We were expecting him to run a nice race, but when the penny dropped halfway down the straight, he picked up and hit the line very well to run out a good winner on the day.

“He’s improved since then, he’s stronger and his work has been better. He’s a lovely horse with a nice future ahead of him.

“I was very impressed with Persian Force in his last two runs. They hold him in high regard and he’s the best 2-year-old I’ve seen win so far this year.

“Blackbeard hasn’t done anything wrong, but he got his own way out in front last time at the Curragh and I don’t think he’ll get his own way at Ascot.”

3.40 King’s Stand Stakes

“Chris Waller doesn’t bring horses away from Australia unless they’re worth bringing and I fancy Nature Strip.

“He’s probably better going six furlongs, but with the pace that Golden Pal is going to set in the race, it’s a long way up that hill. It is a stiff five furlongs and I think it’ll play into Nature Strip’s hand.”

ROYAL ASCOT TOP TRAINER ODDS

4.20 St James’s Palace Stakes

“My only concern for Coroebus is that he ran keen the last day at Newmarket and if there isn’t much pace in the race, it won’t be in his favour.

“Lusail got upset in the stalls at the 2000 Guineas. He didn’t get the clearest of runs with a bump inside the final furlong or two, but he came home well to finish 6th.

“He’s a big each-way price if things didn’t work out for the favourite.”

5.00 Ascot Stakes

“Pied Piper is a classy horse on his jumps form and when Gordon Elliott and Jamie Spencer team up they are never far away, so he could be there.

“But Arcadian Sunrise ran a very good race at Chester and probably didn’t get the best of runs around. It’s impossible to get going at Chester if you don’t get a clear run.

“They’re claiming 5lbs off him, he’s drawn well and he’s been prepped for the race.”

5.35 Wolferton Stakes

“There was a good pace the last day for Cadillac and he was nearly doing too much for Shane Foley in the first half of the race.

“But the way he picked up in the straight, sprinted in the last furlong and put the race to bed was very eye-catching.

“There is plenty of pace in this race and Shane Foley will be able to get him to settle and come home well. He looks the one to be beaten.”

6.10 Copper Horse Stakes

Cleveland sets the standard as he was very impressive at Chester and Aidan O’Brien wouldn’t be keeping him as a 3-year-old if he didn’t think he’d still have enough ability at 4.

“He’s probably a group horse in handicap company, so he’s the one to beat and I wouldn’t look past him.”
