Scoil Ui Chonaill Win €5,000 Prize Courtesy Of BoyleSports

Ballymac Matt’s outstanding BoyleSports Irish Greyhound Derby win not only delighted owners Ballymac Kelly and the Lads syndicate and trainer Liam Dowling, but also Clontarf GAA club Scoil Ui Chonaill.

BoyleSports allocated the participating GAA clubs a greyhound each in the hopes of winning a fantastic prize of €5,000.

Scoil Ui Chonaill were awarded the lucky dog and when Ballymac Matt charged to victory in Shelbourne on Saturday evening, the club bagged the €5,000 grand prize courtesy of BoyleSports.

It’s only the second year we have run the competition and we are delighted to see GAA clubs such as this year’s winner Scoil Ui Chonaill and last year’s winner Naomh Barrog reap the rewards in what is an added element of fun to a thrilling Derby season.”
