Seeley’s Selections – Crystal Palace v Sunderland

Monday Night Football sees two Premier League strugglers battle it out in front of the live TV camera when Crystal Palace entertain Sunderland at Selhurst Park.

There is a lot to like about Palace in this one and despite their recent poor run of form I’m getting well stuck into the Eagles at Boylesports very generous 21/20.

Neil Warnock’s team aren’t in the best of form at the moment with just one win their last five but their performances deserve a lot more than they have been getting.

In their last home match they played well in a 2-1 defeat to Premier League favourites Chelsea and last weekend they let a two goal lead slip in a 2-2 draw with West Brom.

They’ve only won once at home all season, but under the floodlights at a wet and blustery night in South East London there is only one team who will fancy it.

Palace have a great record in this fixture winning the last four meetings last season they won 3-1 and at 15/1 I wouldn’t rule out the same scoreline again with Boylesports.

The one thing that will be carrying my readies on Monday night is Both Teams To Score.
Both teams have scored in four of the last six Palace matches and at Boylesports 10/11 that looks the best bet on the evenings action.

In five of the last seven meetings at Selhurst Park “Both Teams Have Scored” and Palace have conceded at least two goals in five of their last six Premier League games

and with two leaky defence, goals look certain.
Sunderland are in a shocking run of form and I couldn’t get involved in the 3/1 about the visitors in this one.

They’ve only won once all season and they’ve only picked up two points on the road all season and simply can’t be touched at present.They’ve lost their last four scoring just one and conceding 13.

Sunderland’s defending has been comical in the last four weeks especially from set pieces and giant defender Brede Hangeland could cause them all kinds of problems from corners and set-pieces.

The Norwegian netted the first goals last week at The Hawthornes and at 20/1 with Boylesports he’s worth a few quid of anyones money to grab the opener again against the leaky wearsiders.
