Seeley’s Selections – Liverpool v Bolton – FA Cup

Liverpool v Bolton

Match Betting

There is no “Double Bubble” for BoyleSports punters this weekend as we have no action from the Premier League but don’t let that bother you too much as we have…

…some great bets in the greatest domestic competition in the World for us to get well stuck into to continue our recent good run.

Saturday’s live offering is the evening clash between Liverpool and Bolton at Anfield. As you are know, I have been a big critic of Liverpool and Brendan Rodgers and I have been slated for it by you lovely people on social media…but hats off, if I wore one they are playing well.

The Reds have shown the Liverpool of last season in the last few months and they are rightly the 1/3 favourites for this one after a run of just one loss in their last 15 matches.

They produced their best performance of the season in the 1-1 draw with Chelsea in the Capital One Cup semi-final first leg in midweek and what’s putting me off backing them in this one is the return leg at Stamford Bridge is just three days after this clash. I expect a whole host of changes from Rodgers and the first one would be Rickie Lambert to lead the line and at stand-out industry 9/2 with BoyleSports to open the scoring and I like that a lot.

Hopefully we will be shouting “Riiiiiccccckkkiiiiieee” after the first goal is scored and I think once he scores that could be the way the game finishes.
I can’t see the Reds conceding in this one albeit against an in-form Bolton side that have only lost once in their last 12 matches and the win to nil for the Premier League side gets my juices flowing at BoyleSports’ 6/5 rather than just the short price to win inside the 90-minutes.

Liverpool have won 10 of their last 11 matches against the Trotters and you would have to be a right “24-carat plonker” to think the visitors could get something in this one.

They boast the oldest striker partnership in history with former red Emile Heskey and Eidur Gudjohnsen and a combined age of 73 and even Dejan Lovern (just) could cope with that pair. I can see this being a very professional, get the job done performance by Liverpool and I also like them to comfortably book their place in the fifth round draw with a 1-0 victory which is available at 13/2 with BoyleSports.

B Lucky!

Seeley’s Selections:
