Seeley’s Selections – Monday’s Live Premier League Game

Everton host QPR at Goodison Park in the Monday night live Premier League offering this week and the Boylesports odds-compilers expect a very comfortably evening for the home side, and it’s very hard to disagree with them.

Roberto Martinez’ side haven’t been in the best of form recently, but it’s very hard to look past them in this one even at the short odds of Boylesports 40/85.

The Toffeemen have only won once in their last five Premier League matches and they went down 1-0 in shock midweek defeat at home to Krasnodar in the Europa League, but that was a team full of reserve players and with the big guns returning for this one I fully expect them to comfortably get back to winning ways.

QPR are in decent form and some may be tempted by the 7/1 available on Harry Redknapp’s side with Boylesports, but all their recent good form has been at Loftus Road and away from W12 they are truly shocking. Rangers, have played eight away matches this season and have lost the lot, scoring just two goals and conceding a staggering 18 and if Monday’s task wasn’t hard enough, they arrive in Merseyside without suspended top-goalscorer Charlie Austin.

We aren’t going to get rich by backing the odds-on quotes on the home side, but without Austin there is no way that QPR score in this game.
The 7/5 with Boylesports on Everton to win to nil looks a much better alternative for having a wager in this one and I really think it’s going to be a very one-sided affair.

In three of the last four clashes between this pair Everton have won to nil and that outcome does look the best way to play on Monday night.

Last season the two met in the FA Cup and Everton came through by a 4-0 margin and at 16/1 about a repeat score-line I’m convinced it can be as easy as that for the home side.

With all the big guns expected to return Romelu Lukaku is no surprise the bookies 7/2 favourite to open the scoring that does looks too short for me to get stuck into and at 9/1 with Boylesports my choice for an opening scorer would be Ross Barkley.

Barkley opened the scoring when the two met last season and now he’s playing in a more advance role I expect him to have his goalscoring boots on in this one.

Seeley’s Selections:
Everton To Win To Nil – 7/5
Everton To Win 4-0 – 16/1
Ross Barkley To Score First – 9/1

REMEMBER “Double Bubble” if your first goalscorer nets the opener inside the first 20 minutes Boylesports will double the odds on your winning selection.

B lucky!

Nigel
