Seeley’s Selections – Sunday’s Live Games

Stats

We are dining out this weekend after all the winning tips this column has served up over the midweek action and this week’s Super Sunday menu…

…starts of with a sporting equivalent of a cold vegetable soup before we await the chateaubriand of a main course.

Burnley v Everton, Sunday, 1:30
First up is the lunch time kick-off between Burnley and Everton at Turf Moor.
There are many reason to suggest that the 4/5 with Boylesports on the visitors in this one is well worth getting involved in a decent financial involvement.

Roberto Martinez’ men started off the season in dreadful fashion conceding goals for fun (only QPR have a worse defensive record in the Premier League), but the recent signs are looking good for The Blues. Last weekend they battered Aston Villa 3-0 which was only their second clean sheet of the season and then in midweek they made the tough trip to Northern France to take on Lille in the Europa League and came back with a valuable point in a 0-0 draw, another shut-out.

If Everton have a problem at the back, their opponents have a major problem at the opposite end. Burnley have only scored four goals this season (the lowest in England) and are still awaiting their first win since their return to the Premier League and they are 18/5 to get it in this one…the wait will continue.

I really like the 21/10 on Everton to win to nil here, even though the statistics aren’t in my favour.

The last time Everton won at Turf Moor was in January 1971 when Grandad was Number One in the charts, but stats are there to be broken and I like the visitors to cruise to a 3-0 win which is available at 13/1 with Boylesports.

Romleu Lukaku would be my idea of a first goalscorer at 7/2 with Boylesports. The Belgium international was rested in the midweek clash with Lille and he scored in the win over Villa last time out. A rested and hungry Lukaku is the last thing that the Burnley defenders want to see and REMEMBER “Double Bubble” if you back a first goalscorer and your winning selection nets inside the first 20 minutes, Boylesports will double the odds on that player.

Seeley’s Selections:
Everton to win to nil @ 21/10
Everton to win 3-0 @ 13/1
Romelu Lukaku First Goalscorer @ 7/2

Man United v Chelsea, Sunday 4pm
And now we move unto the main course it’s the biggest game of the Premier League this weekend and probably of the season so far it’s the clash between two Premier League juggernauts Manchester United and Chelsea at Old Trafford live on Sky Sports at 4pm.

This is a big test for both sides but in particular for Louis Van Gaal’s United side.

When I was looking at this game I honestly thought that Chelsea would be around the even money mark to win here and I do expect the money to come for them come kick-off time. When I saw the 31/20 available on Jose Mourinho’s men with Boylesports, it got me all hot under the collar.

They are simply on a different level to United at the moment and 12 games into their season they still haven’t suffered/or looked like suffering a defeat. United are in a bit of form themselves and I’m sure United fanatics will take the 19/10 on the 20-times Champions to win this with Boylesports my advice is don’t.

They’ve only lost once in the last six games and have won three of their four games this season at Old Trafford but this is a different level of opponent to anything they have faced and struggled with this season.

In United’s last four games both teams have scored in everyone of them and even though I can’t see them winning, I do think they will score. In Chelsea’s 12 games this season, seven have seen both teams scoring so the 4/6 with Boylesports on that happening in this one is a worthy wager.

Chelsea warmed up for the this weekend with a 6-0 hammering over Maribor in the Champions League, United fans remember those nights? Against Maribor and for most of the season, Belgium international Eden Hazard was unplayable and against a very leaky and nervy United back four I like the 15/2 on him scoring the first goal.

Don’t forget, Boylesports will double your odds if your winning First Goalscorer selection scores within the first 20 minutes!

Seeley’s Selections:
Chelsea to win @ 31/20
BTTS @ 4/6
Eden Hazard First Goalscorer @ 15/2 (Double Bubble 15/1)
