Seeley’s Selections – Sunday’s Live Premier League Tips

Two matches in the Premier League which will have a big factor in matters at the top and the bottom of the table for us to get punting on Sunday.

Man City v QPR, Sky Sports 1, 1:30pm

The first game of the afternoon sees strugglers, QPR, making the tough trip to the Etihad to take on Manchester City and they are the biggest price on the BoyleSports’ coupon this week at 13/1.

A trip to the blue half of Manchester is a tough ask, but when you go there having to win to stay in the Premier League, well that’s just practically impossible.

Manuel Pellegrini still looks a man under pressure and he’s still odds-on to get fired at the end of the season.

Despite the pressure on the gaffer a win here will see them put the skids on Arsenal in the chase for the runners-spot ahead of their game on Monday night against Swansea.

City have lost just once in their last 15 home Premier League games and although I think they will win, I couldn’t back them at the 2/9 with BoyleSports, and it definitely won’t be a thrashing, either.

The home side are unbeaten in their last six against QPR, but the last two matches were draws and that’s not good enough for either side in this one, hence BoyleSports’ massive 13/2 on a stalemate.

I fancy a few goals in this one and I do like both teams to score at BoyleSports 20/23.

City have recently conceded at home against Burnley, Aston Villa and Hull, and with QPR having to go all out for the win that looks a decent play.

QPR have been losing regularly, but not by many heavy score-lines.

In their last eight defeats seven of them have been by just one goal and a City to win by exactly a goal looks fair value at 10/3 with BoyleSports.

Who can forget City’s famous 3-2 last gasp win in 2012 which won them the title? At a massive 22/1, another 3-2 with BoyleSports looks worthy of a quid or two.

Sergio Aguero is the odds-on favourite to be the top Premier League goalscorer and he has to be backed at 5/2 with BoyleSports in this one to open the scoring.

The Argentinian has scored three goals in his last four Premier League games against QPR including his famous AGGGUERROOOOOO goal and at that price, I do like him to open the scoring again, and hopefully inside the first 20 minutes to land the “Double Bubble” offer for us to get paid out an enhanced 5/1.

Seeley’s Selections:
Both Teams To Score – Yes @ 20/23
Man City To Win By Exactly One Goal @ 10/3
Correct Score Man City 3-2 @ 22/1
Sergio Aguero First Goalscorer @ 5/2

Chelsea v Liverpool, Sky Sports 1, 4pm

Champions’ Chelsea host Liverpool in the Super Sunday late afternoon kick-off from Stamford Bridge.

The Blues are a massive 11/10 with BoyleSports to win this and I think that is just crying out to be backed.

The footy boys obviously believe that is a good time to face the Blues as they’ve already won the title, hence the price on offer, but this is Jose Mourinho going up against a team that has given him more grief than any other in his tenure in west London.

Mourinho always beats Liverpool, that just always happens.

In his last 10 games in charge of Chelsea against the Reds he’s won eight and lost just one and I can’t see that changing regardless if they’ve won the title or not.

One thing that you can rely on when these two meet is a lack of goals.

In the three times they’ve met this season every game has been a tight one and there is no reason to suggest things are going to change on Sunday.

Under 2.5 goals is 8/11 with BoyleSports – that has been a winner in four of the last six Chelsea games and also a winner in three of the last four clashes between these two.

Brendan Rodgers’ side are an industry best 29/10 with BoyleSports and the form they are arriving here in, I can’t back even at that price.

The Reds’ have only won three of their last eight matches against the mighty Blackburn, Newcastle and QPR, and the problem all season has been scoring goals. I expect that to continue again in this one.

Chelsea are 12/5 to win to nil with BoyleSports and that looks very nice; they’ve only conceded one goal in their last four Premier League matches and against this Liverpool team, who have only managed 49 goals all season (the lowest in the top six), that has to be backed.

This isn’t going to be pretty – more like pretty dull – and that will fall right into the hands of the “Special One”.

A Chelsea win by a 1-0 scoreline at 6/1 with BoyleSports would be my choice of a scoreline.

With injuries to Diego Costa and Daniel Sturridge, and the stand-in strikers not firing on all cylinders, we could get a shock goalscorer in this one.

John Terry, at 20/1 with BoyleSports, is somebody I like to grab the only goal of the game which would cap a fantastic season for the Chelsea skipper and if JT could do it inside the opening 20 minutes it would cap fantastic day for us as we’d get paid out at a monster 40/1.

Seeley’s Selections:
Under 2.5 Goals @ 8/11
Chelsea To Win To Nil @ 12/5
Correct Score Chelsea 1-0 @ 6/1
John Terry First Goalscorer @ 20/1

B Lucky.
Nigel
