Down Shorten For Ulster Title After Stunning Monaghan

Down have been slashed into 4/1 from 14/1 to claim the Ulster SFC title after they stunned Monaghan with a 1-14 to 0-15 victory on Saturday.

Monaghan have drifted out to 50/1 for the All-Ireland as a result of the defeat.

Eamonn Burns’ side have also been cut, from 150/1 to 50/1, for the Sam Maguire following their two-point victory.

Down will face Tyrone in the Ulster final on 16th July, with the latter odds-on favourites at 1/6 to win a second successive provincial championship. Mickey Harte’s men can be backed at 4/1, from 5/1, to clinch a first All Ireland title since 2008.

Down shocked Monaghan on Saturday to claim a first Ulster final appearance in five years.

As a result, The Mournemen have shortened to 4/1 to claim the Ulster title. Eamonn Burns’ side have also shortened to 50/1 for the Sam Maguire after their shock victory in Armagh.
