Sonny Jay Slashed Into Second Favourite For Dancing On Ice

Sonny Jay is starting to close the gap on Faye Brookes as the race to be crowned Dancing On Ice winner heated up on Sunday evening.

The radio DJ and his partner were first on the ice on Valentine’s Day dressed as Popeye and Olive to score a series high of 35 points, which remained untouched to see him top the weekly leaderboard for the first time.

He has now seen his odds collapse into just 11/4 from 10/1 in the space of a week after we cut him into second favourite, making him a close challenger to long-time favourite Faye Brookes.

The former Coronation Street actress continues to lead the race at an odds-on 2/5 despite only finishing fourth in the weekly standings and finding herself on the wrong end of judges’ criticism.

14/1 shots Lady Leshurr and Colin Jackson are joint third favourites, while Rebekah Vardy remains an outsider at 20/1 despite being backed down from 33/1 following her best score of the series dressed as Rachel from Friends.
