Stacey Dooley Takes Back Strictly Favouritism from Joe Sugg

Stacey Dooley is back as the favourite for the Strictly Come Dancing Glitterball trophy after controversy struck surrounding the Lindy-Hop-A-Thon scores, for which she was awarded just 4 points.

Strictly has been hit with fix claims after the tablet judge Shirley was using to reveal the scores from the Lindy Hop-A-Thon broke leaving producers handing a piece of paper to Craig Revel-Horwood. Craig has assured fans this is done every year as a backup for such events.

However it seems punters think the scores were all wrong as they rushed to back BBC journalist Stacey back into favouritism following a passionate Paso Doble. Despite being let down by a low scoring thon, Stacey is now even money to win, shortening in from 7/4.

Joe Sugg went into the weekend as the one to beat at 6/4, but has since been pushed out to the 15/8 second favourite after mixed reviews from the judges for his Couples Choice Street performance.

Fay Tozer topped the leaderboard, winning the Lindy Hop-A-Thon and falling one point short of a perfect score for her Waltz. Unfortunately the support for the Steps star to win isn’t there and she is third in line at 8/1.

Ashley Roberts narrowly avoided the boot after a shock appearance in the dance off saw her battle it out with a now eliminated Graeme Swann. The dance off stint has hurt her chances of winning as she drifts out to 10/1 from 7/1.
