Taylor Swift Shaking Up Grammy Betting For Album Of The Year

Taylor Swift is being well backed to win the coveted Album of the Year prize at this year’s Grammy Awards with her 2020 record ‘Folklore’.

It was confirmed this week that the event which usually takes place at the end of January has been put back to March.

Swift took home her first Grammy as Best New Artist in 2008 and has earned nominations in almost every year since, before being nominated last November in six categories for the 2021 event.

Swift is now the seventh-most nominated female artist in Grammys history with 41 nominations.

Punters have been quick to jump on her odds of 3/1 to pick up Album of the Year, resulting in her chances tumbling into 4/5.

Dua Lipa is the 7/2 second favourite in the Album of the Year category for ‘Future Nostalgia,’ which has earned her six nominations for the 63rd annual show pencilled in for March 14th.

The album is home to her fan-favourite hit ‘Don’t Start Now’ and recently hit over 3 billion streams, but she has a bit to find on Taylor Swift judging by the early betting.
