Tiger Roll Lands Kerry Punter €33,000 After Picking Masters Winner

A punter in the Kingdom was made to wait for a mega win but is celebrating one of the most unlikely doubles after pulling off winners in both the Masters and the Grand National and pocketing over €33,000 in winnings.

The punter struck their bet in one of BoyleSports’ shops in County Kerry and placed an incredible €50 win double on Patrick Reed to win the Masters at 50/1 and Tiger Roll to win the Grand National at 12/1 on the next weekend.

Patrick Reed had the customer on tenterhooks after holding on for a one-shot victory over Rickie Fowler at Augusta, but the bet was left waiting for six days before Tiger Roll fought off a late charge from Pleasant Company for a narrow win in the Grand National.

The bet overcame mammoth odds of 662/1 and saw the customer walk away with a grand total of €33,150.

Tiger Roll was by far the biggest loser in our book but it was a big winner for our Kerry punter who was made to wait before popping the champagne when the winning line arrived in the Grand National.

It’s hard enough to pick a winner in the Grand National but to have it doubled up with a 50/1 winner at Augusta was an absolute masterstroke so…
