Tuesday looks set to go off favourite for Saturday’s Irish Derby after she moved the head of the betting following her late entry into the race.

The daughter of Galileao beat favourite Emily Upjohn by a short head to land The Oaks at Epsom earlier this month and will face seven rivals in her bid to become the first filly to win the Irish Derby since 1994 after she was supplemented by trainer Aidan O’Brien this week.

O’Brien’s only runner in the field and has been backed down to 11/8 from a high of 2/1 earlier this week

…with previous favourite Westover now eased to 13/8 from 5/4 in his bid to replicate Hurricane Lane’s victory in the race last year following a third in the Epsom equivalent.

Joseph O’Brien’s Hannibal Barca is a 9/1 third favourite as he steps up to the 1m4f trip for the first time and shares the tag of third favourite with Lionel, the only British challenger in the field for trainer David Menuisier.
