UK Punter Scoops £8,000 Profit from £1 Lotto Flutter

A punter in the UK had a weekend to remember when they landed an incredible Lotto bet on Saturday night, despite only investing £1 on their lucky numbers.

The anonymous customer placed their bet in a BoyleSports shop on Saturday and placed a £1 accumulator on four numbers to land in the Irish Lottery main draw that evening.

They picked out four numbers and faced odds of 8,000/1 on them all rolling out, but that’s exactly what happened as 1, 6, 11 and 15 all dropped and triggered the celebrations.

The lucky run of numbers allowed the lucky punter to return to the shop and pick up a tidy total of £8,001.
