The 34-year-old was recently announced as captain for the 2023 World Cup, and that is a testament to her influence on this squad.

Lindsey Horan

The Lyon midfielder has racked up 129 Caps and 27 goals for her country. She is capable of playing forward and attacking midfield but most effective as a midfielder where she truly is world class averaging 8.1 Progressive Passes P/90, which is in the 97th percentile, and her 1.92 Progressive Carries P/90 is in the 89th percentile.

Horan will be crucial this summer in the USA’s pursuit of a third consecutive Women’s World Cup.

Trinity Rodman

The daughter of basketball legend Dennis Rodman, she may be the ace in the pack this summer as a fresher face in the squad with 18 games and 4 goals since making her debut in 2022.

Rodman will provide the USA with energy and defensive ability from the front, ranking in the 99th percentile for Tackles 2.1 P/90, Interceptions 1.07 P/90 and Blocks 2.01 P/90; she is more than competent going forward also, with 2.62 Successful Take-Ons P/90 which is in the 96th percentile.
