White Christmas For Dublin’s Fair City

Snow On Christmas Day 2014

Outright Betting

With weather warnings across the country and predictions, albeit wrong predictions, of snowfall Ireland got away snow free in November.

The winter coats are out, the electric blankets are on and the Christmas trees are up as we all prepare for the Christmas cold.

As it’s the first week of December, we can officially now mention the c-word as Boylesports look to see where there might be a White Christmas.

Scotland look like they are in for a treat with both Glasgow and Edinburgh on offer as the 11/4 favourites to see the white stuff on Christmas Day.

Dublin is next in the betting at 3/1, alongside Aberdeen, to wake on Christmas morning to a blanket of snow. The Irish capital was initially installed at 8/1 but punters begged to differ with Boylesports price and backed Dublin right in to 3/1.

Cork is also in the running for a white Christmas at 10/3. the Rebel County are currently our biggest loser in the book and we could see their price shorten even further in the run up to the big day.

Belfast are right behind, joining Manchester at 7/2. London and Cardiff have one thing in common this Christmas as they are both 5/1 to see snow on the 25th with Liverpool the current outsiders at 6/1.
