White Christmas Odds Plummet As BoyleSports Feel The Heat
Punters are picking out Edinburgh and Glasgow above other cities in the British Isles as they eye a festive bonus by investing in the chances of snow on Christmas Day.
Temperatures nosedived into sub-zero levels north of the border last week as winter began to show its teeth and the forecast has triggered an increase in the number of punters backing snow to fall on December 25th.
We cut the chances of Edinburgh and Glasgow Airports seeing festive snow into 3/1 from 4/1 this week,
…making them two of the most likely big cities to see a white Christmas.
The odds on Manchester and Liverpool being sprinkled with the white stuff are also shortening at 5/1 from 6/1, while the Midlands may well be the place to be to avoid it with Birmingham at a slightly more remote 8/1.
