Yanworth Clipped For Champion Hurdle

We saw plenty of activity in the Cheltenham antepost markets on Monday as punters started to get stuck into some of their fancies with just three weeks to go until the Festival.

The Sandra Hughes trained Acapella Bourgeois turned the Grade 2 Ten Up Novices’ Steeplechase at Navan into a procession on Sunday and punters thought that the 16/1 available on Monday morning about the son of Network winning the RSA was too big, resulting in his price being supported into 12/1.

The Champion Hurdle market currently sees Buveur D’air head the betting at 3/1 but it was the Alan King trained Yanworth that saw support on Monday.

He saw his price clipped into 4/1 from 9/2.

The Enda Bolger trained Cantlow has also been the subject of sustained support and is now 2/1 from 5/2 for the Cross Country Chase.
