Corach Rambler has won the 2023 Grand National at Aintree! The 9-year-old went off as favourite at odds of 8/1 and went on to win this year’s Grand National by 2¼ lengths from Vanillier in 2nd place.

With the victory Corach Rambler puts his name in the history books and will forever be remembered as a Grand National winning horse.

2023 Grand National Winning Jockey

The 2023 Grand National winning jockey is Derek Fox who gave Corach Rambler a superb ride to guide him past the post first ahead of his opponents.

This is Fox’s 2nd National win as a jockey with this year’s victory. The Co. Sligo born jockey previously won the 2017 Grand National on board Lucinda Russell-trained One For Arthur.

2023 Grand National Winning Trainer

The 2023 Grand National winning trainer is Lucinda Russell who trained Corach Rambler. This 2023 Grand National win is the second win as a trainer for Russell in the world’s most famous horse race having won previously with One For Arthur in 2017 as she yet again claimed the most coveted prize of horse racing trainers.

2023 Grand National Recap

It was an absolutely glorious day in Merseyside which was in stark contrast to the torrential rain of Friday at the festival. The weather and occasion all played its part in a packed out crowd at Aintree Racecourse for the biggest day in the international horse racing calendar.

Corach Rambler went off as favourite at odds of 8/1 and ran a supreme race to be crowned 2023 Grand National champion at Aintree.

How Many Horses Ran In The 2023 Grand National?

39 horses ran in this year’s Grand National out of the 40-horse strong field with Escaria Ten being pulled out earlier in the day due to lameness.
