We have the latest Premier League relegation odds plus standings, final fixtures, odds and our predictions as the EPL season draws to a close.

As we enter the climax of the 22/23 season we are 34 Match-Days down with 4 not out there are still six sides who could be relegated to the Championship for the 23/24 season Southampton looked nailed on for relegation but the battle to be one of the two teams that join them remains quite competitive.

Premier League Relegation Odds

Southampton – 

The EFL Cup Semi-Finalists look certain for the drop into the Championship for the first time since their promotion to the Premier League in the 2011-12 season when they came runners-up to Reading.

They’ve since been a generally stable EPL Side even fluttering with European qualification on several occasions the highlight being their 2016-17 Europa League Group Stage appearance. In 22/23 they have had a poor season amassing 24 points in their opening 34 games which has them currently bottom of the table with 6 points  from safety.

Signs look ominous for this Southampton side and it will require huge performances from star midfielder James Ward-Prowse, while Ireland keeper Gavin Bazunu was dropped for their 1-0 defeat at home by Bournemouth

Everton – 

Everton are currently the second longest-serving top-flight club in England having never been relegated from the Premier League and their last relegation coming in the 1950-51 season. Only Arsenal’s record of 1912-13 betters it.

However, Frank Lampard had an awful season as Everton’s boss eventually being sacked on the 23^rd of January with the side 19^th being replaced by Premier League hardman Sean Dyche.

Everton are currently in 19th position on 29-points with four games to play and 1-point from safety. It’s looking like a miracle will only save them for relegation but then again Dyche has pulled off miracles before!

Nottingham Forest – 

The team won promotion to the Premier League by winning the 2022 Championship play-off final 1-0 vs Huddersfield Town, in turn, returning to the English top-flight for the first time since their religion in the 1999 season.

However, following the promotion Nottingham Forrest took the bold move to effectively change their entire squad for the Premier League season signing 22 players in Summer 2022 with a further 8 players coming in January 2023 spending close to £200 million on “talents” like Neco Williams from Liverpool and Jesse Lingard from Manchester United while binning off over a dozen players which helped them earn promotion.

They currently lie 17^th in the table 1 point above the relegation zone ahead of Leicester City following their shock 3-1 victory over Brighton last time out if they can pull off another shock or two they will be safe but I cannot see it happening.

Leeds – 

Leeds lies in 17^th position on 30-points after a topsy-turvy season with Jesse Marsch being sacked on the 6^th of February and eventually being replaced by former Watford manager Javi Garcia on the 21^st of February 2023 and now looks set to be replaced by Sam Allardyce with four keeps remaining in the season.

With the likes of Manchester City and Newcastle to play, they aren’t out of the relegation race just yet.

Leicester City – 

The shock 2015-16 Premier League Champions find them in relegation trouble again a feat they narrowly avoided the season before their EPL title win. Under Brendan Rodgers last season they were excellent highlights being an 8^th-place league finish along with a Europa Conference Semi-Final.

Following on from their loss of club legend goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel and Wesley Fofana many thought they could struggle but certainly not to this degree.  Brendan Rodgers would be sacked with the team 19^th following a 2-1 loss to fellow strugglers Crystal Palace with former Aston Villa boss Dean Smith eventually appointed as his replacement on Sunday 10^th of April.

Leicester 5-points in their last three matches showing decent form to remove some relegation worries with them currently 16th and outside the relegation zone with a substantially better goal difference than those below them. They’re getting closer to safety but are not out of the woods just yet.

West Ham- 

Mathematically Moyes West Ham can still be relegated currently 15th on 34-points with five games to play. It would take an almighty collapse for them to be relegated and ‘ll even go as far to say they could lose all their matches and still stay up! West Ham will be a Premier League side next season mark my words.
