Natalie Sawyer is confident that the Republic of Ireland will build on a strong run of form by getting their Nations League campaign off to a wining start on Saturday.

She gives her advice on the Boys In Green ahead of their Group B clash at 2pm, speaking to Leon Blanche, below.

“Stephen Kenny didn’t enjoy the best of starts as Republic of Ireland manager, but wow have they enjoyed an upturn in form,” she told BoyleSports.

“They are unbeaten in their last eight and there is a new-found air of confidence in the side, a real feel-good factor.”

“They are searching for their first Nations League win and there’s no better place to do it at Armenia who haven’t only won once in their last 11.

“Callum Robinson is somebody you would be looking at to get on the scoresheet, he has definitely been enjoying life under Stephen Kenny.

“But there are newcomers too and that is positive for Ireland going forward because it drives competition. A lot of players will be desperate to get on the scoresheet and Republic of Ireland can win this.”
