Arsenal Premier League Odds – Can The Gunners Win The League?

We have Arsenal Premier League odds for you as the Gunners quest for a first Premier League title since 2004 enters the home stretch.

Arsenal Premier League Odds

The latest Arsenal Premier League odds are 11/10 to be crowned 22/23 Premier League champions (correct as of April 12th). These odds give the Gunners a 52.38% chance of winning their first league title since 2004.

The league leaders drew 2-2 away to Liverpool in their 30th game of the season to extend their unbeaten run to eight matches with their last defeat coming against title rivals Manchester City in a 3-1 defeat at home back in February. The match against Liverpool was topsy-turvy with Arsenal going 2-0 up through Martinelli in the 8th minute and Jesus in the 28th minute before goals from Salah on 42 minutes and Firmino in the 87th minute meant the points were shared.

Premier League Table

The draw means that Arsenal extended their lead at the top to six points over Manchester City who have a game in hand and who host Arsenal on the 26th of April which looks like the title decider. Manchester City also has a superior goal difference (48) to Arsenal’s (43) which could come into play given how tight the margin for error is between both sides this season.

Arsenal v Man City for the Premier League Title

A crucial factor in the title race could be fixture congestion, Arsenal has only eight games remaining having been eliminated from every other competition. Manchester City on the other hand are still competing in the FA Cup and Champions League and face potentially the prospect of 15 games before the end of their season (from April 12th until the end of the season), double that of Arsenal.

The form book gives City the advantage though with Arsenal not having beaten them in the Premier League since December 2015 and their last top-flight win at the Etihad was in January 2015. The sides have already met twice this season, with City winning 1-0 in the FA Cup in January and 3-1 in the league in February.

According to Opta, 13 sides in the top-flight have had 73 or more points after 30 games (when adapted to 3 points for a win) and only two of these have failed to go on and win the title – Manchester United in 2011-12 and Liverpool in 2018-19.

However, less reassuringly for Arsenal fans, it was City who ultimately finished champions on both those occasions. If City wins their next match they will have 70 points after 30 games.

In one sense it is very simple for Arsenal, win their remaining matches and they’ll have their first Premier League title since 2004. In practice though it isn’t that simple and Manchester City know if they do the same they’re all but guaranteed the title too.

Prediction: Arsenal Finish 2nd

I’m predicting Arsenal lose to Manchester City in their league game on April 26th which will be enough for them to lose out on their first title since 2004 while Man City go on to win 3 in a row.

On the other end of the table we previewed the Premier League relegation battle in what is a very congested bottom of the league table this season.
