The unbeaten four-year-old drew more comparisons with the all-time greats after romping home by 6½ lengths in the Juddmonte International with runner-up Mishriff unable to trouble Jim Crowley’s mount in the final furlong.

An 11th successive victory in the Champion Stakes at Ascot in October has now been cut into 2/5 from 11/10 by BoyleSports, with trainer William Haggas insisting that will be the target for Baaeed’s finale.

Frankel Colt Chaldean was earlier introduced to the antepost betting for next year’s 2000 Guineas at 33/1 following his Acomb Stakes victory, while Deauville Legend’s win in the Great Voltigeur means he is now the 10/1 favourite from 16/1 for the Melbourne Cup.

Lawrence Lyons, spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “It was always going to be fascinating to see how Baaeed got on over the longer trip and punters never looked for one second to be in any danger.

They just can’t get enough of him and now they’re coming again for the Champion Stakes, so we’re going 2/5 from 11/10 and it’ll be no surprise to see him go off an even hotter favourite on the day.”
